Changing Elevations

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Cindy Smith had a successful career with Alaskan Airlines until 1994 as a vacation specialist. A move brought Cindy, her husband Steve, and their two children to Billings, Montana in 1996. Being “left-handed,” she realized that her true calling was more to the art world. Cindy quickly joined a local chapter of the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), formerly known as SALI, to pursue her dream. Soon after, Cindy was taking small finishing jobs and painting furniture.....
