Starting his career as a faux painter and finish carpenter in the late 1990s, Dahlke improved his natural techniques by taking an advanced faux painting workshop in 2006 at Faux Masters Studio in Yorba Linda, California. Owners Bob Hoppe and Mike Hoppe noted his impressive, creative abilities and asked Dahlke to represent them at the Faux Effects® 2007 Meeting of the Masters. Also during this year, he and other Faux Masters Studio artisans were honored to be part of an episode of “Flip that House,” completely renovating a small Lake Ellsinore home into a masterpiece....
