Faux Finishing With Finesse

It was her stellar reputation for quality finishing and focus for her clients that has kept Rose busy at one of her latest projects since early this year. Rose has been working with the owners of this fabulous Connecticut home since the beginning stages of the building process and still has many ongoing projects in this home, including an extensive
RsCrete® and FauxStone™ Pull-Off plaster project in the basement.

Walking through the front entrance of this home, with its massive stairway and balcony, it is as if you have been transported to the grand estate of a 19th Century vineyard. Each enormous wooden baluster was painstakingly hand coated with TrueTint Stone™ to mimic the look of natural limestone. The walls in the foyer and the upstairs hallway were textured withOldeWorldMarmorino™, one of Rose’s favorite Faux Effects®products.These walls were then colored with a Color Solvent™blend custom tinted per the client’s request. The overall effect is one of both grandeur and warmth....
