From the USA to the UAE

Even as a child, Felipe Vega knew that his future would include artistic expression in one form or another. Throughout his academic career Felipe was acknowledged for his sketches and paintings. These early accolades inspired him to make a name for himself in the field that he was growing to love so much. His desire to learn about and embrace many various forms of art grew as he did.

At the onset of his career, Felipe began painting business signs for local companies in his hometown. He was thrilled that he could make money doing something that he loved to do. In 1995, Felipe came to the United States and began working full time with his brother who owned a successful house painting business. Felipe bought a used airbrush, and in his free time he would diligently practice with it until it became second nature. Before long, he was creating and selling customized T-shirts at the local flea market.This then branched into airbrushing artwork on motorcycles, followed by automobiles and before he knew it, the first request for faux finishing came his way. He accepted the challenge having never executed this type of application, and to his (and his clients) delight the final finish was everything they had hoped for and more. The proverbial door to the world of decorative finishing had been forced open, and the referrals began to flood in. It was at that moment he decided to venture into his own business under the name “Creative Finishes By Vega.” ....
